Free things to do this half term!

With the sun making a regular appearance and schools broken up, you may be wondering what to do this half term and beyond. Here are some of things I am looking forward to taking my kids to or, if I can, visit with a friend or two!

UnNatural History

The Herbert Art Gallery

28th May 10am – 22nd August 4pm 2021

A major exhibition exploring natural history and climate change curated by Invisible Dust.

Presented in a newly refurbished contemporary gallery this exhibition forms part of the launch for Coventry UK City of Culture 2021.

The café at the Herbert Art Gallery is a great place for all, with a range of cold and hot food available and a play area for the little ones.

The Self-Portrait Prize 2021 by the Ruth Borchard Collection

Coventry Cathedral

17th May – 28th June 2021

The exhibition, set in the Cathedral, will be something I know my children will enjoy. They are always wowed by the magnitude of the Cathedral building and it will be an opportunity for them to see a range of portraits and we can wonder about the artist and the person pictured.
